Service rep was happy to service my vehicle

Cecil Atkission is cut above the rest. The customer service and professionalism the staff showed my wife and goes far beyond astounding. We drove 4 hours from our home after I had a great conversation with our sales rep and no surprises or gimmicks, just a guy with a love for the car who shares the same view with another guy who’s passion is similar for the car. That surpasses just being knowledgeable, that’s my take on ‘above and beyond’. Godspeed to Cecil Atkission and the entire family, I will forever be grateful to you knowing there’s a dealership out there who truly cares and appreciate your vision.

Frustrated by the rental car process. If the vehicle needs to be left there its part of the GM warranty that a loaner or rental be provided, but it seems like the there's always a reason it can't be done. This is a new problem in the last few years as it used to be very simple and easy. I dont want my truck in the shop any more than anyone else, but I also dont want to be stranded.

First, I would like to say that the Cecil Team is first class. My experience started with the service department and David is the Ultimate on customer service and communication with his customers. We went to him to for advice and his professional opinion on the New Buick after owning several of the 3.6 L Avenirs compared to the new 4cyl. I was able to make a decision and move forward with the team. Carl, Mike and the Finance team really made the process work smooth and I appreciate the professionalism they started with and finished with all the way through.

Service advisor was giving me detailed reports on the status of the service on my vehicle. That's exactly what people want and need when their vehicle is being serviced.

Service was excellent

The service felt disorganized, and I was given answers that didn’t seem accurate or fully thought through. An estimate was provided for my truck without a complete inspection, which came across as misleading. After deciding to tow my vehicle to another shop, I waited over 45 minutes just to pay because I was essentially forgotten. Maybe it was just an off day, but overall, the experience felt unprofessional and left me questioning the shop’s transparency.

Tyler was excellent and Will was good as well. The process of purchasing the vehicle went with out any issues. I was slightly disappointed with the delivery though. When I picked my vehicle up it hadn’t been detailed. I was told that it would be. I had to go purchase a scraper to remove the stickers off of the windows myself. It was after 5:00 pm . I was told that if I would bring it back that it could be detailed at a later date. I really don’t have time for that. I have to say that my bed cover did get transferred from my trade as I was promised.

I had my suburban in for an oil change and a tire rotation. All was done efficiently and in a timely manner. Nice job!

Had to bring my new vehicle in as a result of electronics problems.

David our service person was great. He explained everything about what would take place with our vehicle and when it would be completed. The mechanic also was very informative. He took a video of our tahoe as he was evaluating any potential issues. The only constructive item for your consideration would be to put a water softener on your car wash equipment. I really appreciate you washing my vehicle after service but with the hard water that exists in Kerrville, now I have to remove the water spots that exist. Otherwise I am very happy with the service I get from Atkission Motors.

When we picked our car up it was covered in bird feces it was clean when we dropped it off not so much when we picked it up. Very unprofessional customer service our vehicle should have been at the minimum rinsed off. We did not drop it off full of leaves and bird feces.

Took 3 hours, far too long. It’s interesting your mechanic will remove my cabin air filter, inspect it, and tell me I need to replace it. If I decline, he puts it back at no charge; if I accept, he puts a new one and charges labor for installing. ?

I set my appointment for Thursday the 4th, dropped the truck off on time, and never heard anything. I called Friday afternoon to be told they haven't looked at it yet. I asked for a loaner truck and was told none were available. Call back Monday, I'm informed they figured out the issue, and hope to have it fixed by weeks end.... Still cant provide me with something to drive. I finally got it back that Thursday evening. My two issues with this experience- 1st- I had to call and get updates on my truck, communication was terrible. 2nd- If you have to keep my brand new truck for 7 days, I should be provided something to drive. I should have been given the option to scheduled for a time where I could have been provided a vehicle. Overall I plan to take my business to a different dealership.

This was my first time using a local dealership out of the city and this was by far the best and easiest experience. I have purchased vehicles new and used from no less than 8 dealerships in and around San Antonio over the years. It was always a hassle and took all day. The team at Cecil helped get me out of a bad vehicle and jumped through many obstacles to make sure I was taken care of. They finished everything in advance before I arrived and I spent less than an hour and a half physically at the dealership. They were great working around my schedule to meet my needs. They found the vehicle I wanted and had it there in less than a day. I have nothing but great things to say about the team there and would highly recommend anyone to give them a shot.

Didn’t have to wait days on tire to come in

Service was on my 2024 GMC Denali, 3.0L diesel. While towing, my truck indicates erroneous DEF levels and goes into limp mode very prematurely. The alarm indicates my DEF tank is empty when it is full. A little research indicates this is a widespread problem without a real fix from GM. The 2024 Service Bulletin on this issue advises to update the system software. The tech at Atkinson Chevy indicated my truck already had the latest software, so that was no help. He reset my DEF level indication to get me out of limp mode, but nothing else was done. This problem will reoccur next time I tow my trailer. This is a known problem by GM due to an extremely conservative algorithm regarding compliance with emission rules. GM needs to fix this problem or I am going to sell my truck and change brands due to a continued issue while towing my camper trailer. Atkinson did a good job with my service schedule and handling per the SB.

David Wienke was not only very personable, but extremely helpful in all matters regarding our purchase. He was fully prepared to explain all aspects of the vehicle making our transition from our previous vehicle to the new one very easy. David is a fine representative for Cecil Chevrolet. Estella in Accounting was very helpful in finalizing all the paperwork and clearly explaining the maintenance plans available to help us make an informed decision.

Was able to discuss repairs with the repair technician prior to beginning work. I wanted to have an understanding of options ; everything went well ! Haven't had an opportunity to drive the vehicle a long distance , but all seems OK !

My first maintenance appointment was handled perfectly. David assessed my warranty issue and resolved that when the part came in the next day. My vehicle was ready when expected, and I was very satisfied with the customer service and quality of work I received.

I have a 2024 Chevrolet Tha has 49k miles. A light keeps coming on and says service transmission. It should be on th power train watrenty and yall want to tell me over 1200$ to repair? It just says service (not repair). I already had to return the first truck i bought from you guys and then they gave me a truck that was lower graded and charge me even more enrolled it into my current and existing loan now you’re telling me I need to pay $1250 for a part and you say it’s not covered.

Although It took longer than I expected to complete, I know the weather had a lot to do with it, I am satisfied with the service . I read about installation of a transmission and found out that a front wheel drive vehicle is much harder to install a transmission and I seen all the different parts that had to be removed in order to install the transmission. So far without driving a good distance I am satisfied with the Service.

No floor mat covers. My driver side mat was really dirty. Also my car was clean when I brought it in for service. They ran it through a wash cycle & did not dry it. So it was spotted & dirty from the dust. I had to wash it again.

I am from El Paso, Texas, this was an easy and smooth by took care of all the paperwork from home flew there to pick up my brand new Corvette. The attention and the communication was 10 out of 10 highly recommend to all my friends and family will be buying more cards from them in the future.

David was able to get vehicle in at the day and time I needed and get my daughter to work early.

It was a great experience. Scheduling was easy, I was given a ride home when I dropped off my car. They told me it would be ready in 1 1/2 to 2 hours. It was ready in 2 hours. I came to pick it, they had keys ready and it was washed and waiting.

Got me right in, identified the problem, acquired a hard-to-procure part quickly and got the problem fixed.

Did not solve any the problem with my tire sensors, so I had them replaced at the tire shop as I was told by your people that would solve the problem. Now replaced and the same problem exists. Techs at the tire shop say "it is a problem in the wiring somewhere" which is what I have been saying all along. I had a similar problem in my last Chev truck, they finally found a lose ground wire in the door.

#3 from the #1 Max! Always a great buying experience at Cecil, this being my 5th vehicle from cecil #loyalcustomer. The lower inventory almost forced me to shop elsewhere. But luckily there was one that worked.

The Atkission technical team solved a difficult diagnostic issue. The forward camera was replaced on the vehicle however, it did not solve the problem. David Werner did an excellent job getting my wife's vehicle in quickly after finding the issue. He worked with the extended warranty company to get the transmission fixed. He was in constant communication with me through out the process, even making me aware of other possible issues.

Was supposed to pick up my new vechicle today 5/5/26. Was told when at the dealership that when the car came in I would receive a call. This was Thursday last , and sales told me that the car would be available earlier. I advised I needed to transfer funds and they would be in place 5/5/26. I have reached out to the dealship twice this morning and have not rceived a call back to arrange a time for pickup. I have now decided since no one has had the courtesy to return my calls that I no longer wich to purchase the vechicle. Lousy customer service.

As always, a very pleasant experience. David my Service Advisor is the best! My backup camera stopped working, and mechanic Moses worked quickly and efficiently to analyze the problem and come up with a solution. I love the video of his work. It makes everything very easy to understand. I noticed the stacks of tires and asked David about them, and I was surprised to find out you sell tires! David gave me a quote. and it cannot be beat, plus, the front end will be aligned when they do it! I love getting everything done at one stop! The waiting area is clean and comfortable and everyone at Atkission are super nice!

Took my truck in for an alignment, after a brake job somewhere else, because the truck was pulling to the right. The service manager said alignment was in spec, but it’s possible that the caliper was stuck and that they could look at it and diagnose for additional fees and more time. I’d already spent nearly 3hrs there for the alignment ( which I thought was excessive ). They returned my truck, billed me $200 and didn’t even make any adjustments or run my truck through the car wash on-site. It doesn’t take 20 minutes to diagnose a stuck caliper. And it would have been good business to take a quick look at it while it was in the bay. Especially since I bought the truck there new, and was planning on upgrading to a new high country model. The caliper wasn’t stuck by the way.

Max was an outstanding sales representative, very helpful and knowledgeable about the vehicles and a pleasure to do business with. The only issues I seemed to have at the dealership was the finance department, worrying about selling me extras, and not really ensuring that all my paperwork was correct. I wrote two checks for the total amount of the vehicle I purchased, but had forgotten to sign one of them, which required me to return to the dealership to sign my check. Which if she had verified my paperwork and checks while we were in the office or during the 40 minutes I was waiting for the vehicle to be cleaned, could have been avoided.

David Werner provided excellent and thoughtful customer service. He provided very timely updates and status reports on the repairs.
